Does Pika have a Trim Video app?
We didn’t find a dedicated Trim Video app on Pika’s apps page when we checked on September 25, 2026. Pika’s apps focus on generating and transforming media (such as Extend Video, Upscale and Relight Media). So the usual way to trim a Pika clip is to download it and cut it in a video editor, which takes about a minute. If Pika adds a trim tool, check the app for it first.

How to trim a Pika video
- Download the clip from your Pika library at the highest quality available.
- Open it in a video editor (see tools below).
- Play it frame by frame around the start and end to find clean cut points.
- Set in and out points, or drag the clip’s edges on the timeline.
- Check the cut at full screen: no flash frames or half-warped frames.
- Export at the same resolution and frame rate as the original.
Tip: trim before you upscale, so you only upscale the part you’ll use.

Trim first, then extend
If a clip is too short after trimming, use Extend Video on the trimmed version. Extending from a clean last frame gives the model a better starting point than extending a clip that already has a glitch.
