How to read these examples
Every example has the same parts, so you can compare them quickly and reuse what works:
- Result clip: a single generation from the prompt, with no editing beyond trimming.
- Settings line: the model, duration, resolution and aspect ratio used.
- Prompt: the exact text, with a Copy button.
- What to look for: the detail that shows whether the prompt worked.
- Try one change: a single edit that teaches you something about the model when you compare the two clips.
Your result will differ. Video models produce a different take each time, and models are updated over time. Treat each clip as one example of what a prompt can produce, not a guarantee. Credit costs vary by model: Pika’s pricing page lists a 720p, 5-second clip at 33 credits on Wan 3.0 and 122 credits on Seedance 2.5.

Earbud case reveal

Harbour at sunrise
A quiet fishing harbour just after sunrise. Wooden boats rock gently, mist over the far shore, gulls drift across the frame. Slow lateral tracking shot from the pier, 35mm look, cool blue and soft orange tones.
What to look for: Water motion stays consistent and the tracking move holds one direction.
Try one change: Change “sunrise” to “stormy afternoon” to test weather and lighting.
City at blue hour
A drone slowly rises above a city at blue hour, streets lit up, car light trails moving along the avenues. Cinematic, cool tones.
What to look for: Buildings stay straight as the camera rises; light trails follow the roads.
Try one change: Try “drone glides forward” instead of rising to compare camera handling.
Autumn leaves
Red and orange leaves fall slowly in a park, drifting past a wooden bench. Camera static, soft overcast light, calm.
What to look for: Leaves fall at different speeds and do not merge or vanish mid-air.
Try one change: Add “a light gust of wind” to see how the model handles a change in motion.
Cinematic & stylised prompts
Train platform
Night, an empty train platform in light rain. A man in a dark coat checks his watch and looks up as headlights appear down the track. Handheld camera, sodium street light, tense, no dialogue.
What to look for: The mood comes through in light and rain; the single gesture reads clearly.
Try one change: Change “handheld” to “camera static” to compare how much tension the movement adds.
Paper-cutout forest
A paper-cutout style forest at night, layered card textures, a small fox walks between the trees while fireflies blink. Side-scrolling camera, gentle parallax, muted greens and deep navy.
What to look for: Layers move at different speeds and the card texture survives the motion.
Try one change: Replace “paper-cutout” with “claymation” to test how the style word changes everything.
Lighthouse storm
A lighthouse beam sweeps through heavy rain as huge waves crash against the rocks below. Wide shot, camera static, dramatic, dark blue tones.
What to look for: The beam rotates steadily and the waves break without freezing.
Try one change: Add “thunder and crashing waves” to check whether generated sound follows the scene.

What these prompts have in common
One subject
Each prompt centres on a single thing, described with two or three concrete details.
One action
A single motion across the clip. Chained actions are where short clips most often break.
One camera move
Static, push-in, tracking, orbit or handheld: never two in a 5-second clip.
Named light
Where the light comes from and what time of day it is. This sets the mood more than any adjective.

Will I get the same clip if I use the same prompt?
No. Each generation is a new take, so details, timing and framing will differ. The overall subject, action and camera move should be similar if the prompt is clear.
Why does the same prompt look different on another model?
Each model interprets motion, style and prompt wording differently. Comparing one prompt across models is the quickest way to choose one; see the video models guide.
Can I use these prompts commercially?
The prompts are free to copy. Whether you can use the resulting video commercially depends on your Pika plan; the pricing page lists a commercial license on Creator and Fancy.
