One model for three jobs: a shot from a prompt alone, a photo brought to life, or motion through two to five ordered keyframes (the Pikaframes workflow).
Consider it for: short, crisp clips, animating photos and keyframe transitions.
Seedance 2.5

The longest single generation and the largest reference allowance of the group, with 4K export and a built-in soundscape. Also the highest published price per 5-second clip.
Consider it for: cinematic sequences, short films and final renders.

Unusually, it can build from a webpage or document (PDF, DOC, XLS). Up to 30 seconds, three resolutions, and a faster “Wan 3.0 Prime” variant at a higher per-second cost. The lowest published price per 5-second clip.
Consider it for: cheap drafts, testing prompts, and videos built from existing material.
Google Omni Flash

Listed in the app as Gemini Omni 1.1 Flash. Up to six reference stills to keep a face, product or place consistent, start and end frames, and prompts up to 10,000 characters. It can also rework an attached clip from a description. No audio.
Consider it for: consistent subjects, silent clips you’ll score yourself, and reworking footage.

What the models cost
Pika’s pricing page publishes two example costs, for a 720p, 5-second clip: Wan 3.0 at 33 credits and Seedance 2.5 at 122 credits. MiniMax H3 is priced per second of output (its first five images are free, with extra images billed as additional inputs), and Wan 3.0 Prime costs more per second than standard Wan 3.0. Other prices appear in the app before you generate.

How we test Pika video models
Specs tell you what a model can do; tests show how well it does it on real prompts. We use the same method for every model so results are comparable, and you can repeat it yourself.
- Same prompts. Four fixed prompts covering a product, a person, a landscape and a stylised scene.
- Same settings. 16:9, the closest to 5 seconds each model offers, default resolution, no references.
- Several takes. Three generations per prompt, so one lucky or unlucky take doesn’t decide the result.
- Same scoring. Each take scored 1–5 on the criteria below, then averaged.
- Dated. Models change, so every result carries the date it was run.

There isn’t one best model; each is built for different jobs. Seedance 2.5 targets multi-shot cinematic work, Wan 3.0 is flexible and has the lowest published price, MiniMax H3 offers the most aspect ratios and stereo sound, Google Omni Flash focuses on consistent references, and Pika 2.5 handles prompts, photos and keyframes.
Which models generate sound?
Seedance 2.5, MiniMax H3 and Wan 3.0 list audio. Google Omni Flash is picture only. Pika 2.5’s page doesn’t mention audio. You can add sound to any clip with Pika Soundtrack.
Which model makes the longest videos?
Seedance 2.5 and Wan 3.0 both list up to 30 seconds per generation. You can lengthen any clip with Extend Video.
Are these specs permanent?
